Elise (Jo) Tague, 70, of Decatur died at 11:07 am February 8, 2012 in her residence.

 

In keeping with Elise’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded and a private family service will be held.

 

The family does invite the public for a time of remembrance Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 12:00 pm (noon) until 2:00 pm at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church (2055 S. Franklin Street, Decatur).  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home in Mt. Zion is helping the family with the arrangements.

 

Elise was born October 20, 1941 in Decatur the daughter of Prince A. and Susie M. (Murley) Norman. She married Keith L. Tague, Sr.  April 15, 1968.  They celebrated 22 years together as a couple.  Keith preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1990.  She was a wonderful homemaker and a devoted employee to St. Mary’s Hospital.

 

Surviving are her three daughters: Penny Jimison of Mt. Zion, Talina Tague-Mohn of Decatur and Tonya Ater and her husband Dan of Decatur: sons: Keith Tague and his wife Liz of Marshville, NC, Michael Tague of Decatur: grandchildren; Jennifer Walker and her husband Tony, Josh Ater, Danny Ater, Corey Mohn, Chelsea Mohn, Rileigh Tague, Kameryn Tague and Torri Tague, great-grandchildren: Kayden and Preston Walker, brothers: Kenneth Norman and his wife Linda of Macon, Arthur Norman and his wife Mary of Decatur, sisters; Louise Hollgarth and husband Charles of Decatur, Vicky Dipple of Decatur, Golden Storm and husband Jerry of Decatur.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one daughter, Michelle.
